On June 16, 2022, Springer Nature released the Nature Index 2022 Annual Tables, ranking ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app 9th among Japanese universities.
Nature Index ranks academic institutions that publish research outcomes in 82 selected journals covering the four subjects of Chemistry, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Earth & Environmental, listing them according to their region and country. Rankings are determined based on the level of contribution ("Share") an institution's publications have made in the last 12 months to these fields.
Within Japan, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app ranked 8th in the Life Sciences and 10th in the Physical Sciences.
