"1stRound," Japan's largest multi-university co-sponsored entrepreneurship support program, run by UTokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kosuke Ueta; hereinafter "UTokyo IPC") and eight universities, has announced an agreement for Kyushu University, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app, Ritsumeikan, and Waseda University to newly join the program.
With this development, "1stRound" will become Japan's largest program, co-sponsored by 13 universities spanning both national and private institutions. To continue its growth through specialized support for commercialization and entrepreneurship that connects various university-born technology seeds to social implementation, the program has renewed its brand design.
