´ºÓêÖ±²¥app
A National Singer, and ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app and College Songs as His Origin
Ichiro Fujiyama (1911¨C1993, real name Takeo Masunaga) studied at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app from his elementary school years. Since serving as the singing coach for "Wakaki-chi" during his time at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app Futsubu School, he remained involved with the music that defined ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app throughout his life. This exhibition highlights this aspect while tracing his journey. After mastering orthodox vocal techniques at the Tokyo School of Music (now Tokyo University of the Arts), he deliberately entered the world of "secular songs." At the same time, he tirelessly worked to develop a refined musical culture. The exhibition attempts to re-evaluate Ichiro Fujiyama, who left a multifaceted legacy with his bright singing voice and a sincere, strong, rebellious spirit.
