An exhibition will be held to introduce the "Sei'ichiro Takahashi Ukiyo-e Collection," assembled by Sei'ichiro Takahashi, an economist who once served as the acting President of ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app.

This exhibition, the second to be held as part of the public outreach program for the Takahashi Collection, focuses on two leading ukiyo-e artists of the late Edo period: Kitagawa Utamaro and Toshusai Sharaku. Featuring ukiyo-e by Utamaro, a master of *bijin-ga* (pictures of beautiful women), and Sharaku, renowned for his *yakusha-e* (actor portraits), the exhibition will also introduce related materials from their publisher, Tsutaya Juzaburo, along with works by other artists active during the same period.

Furthermore, this event will feature extremely rare ukiyo-e woodblock prints by Sharaku on loan, creating a space where they can be appreciated alongside the Takahashi Collection. Please enjoy this joint showcase of *bijin-ga* and *yakusha-e*.
