Evolving into a Research University That Forges the Common Sense of the Future

´ºÓêÖ±²¥app will further develop its distinctive research centers and, through combining intellect and morals, cultivate fertile ground that encourages interdisciplinary research to sprout and grow. By constructing a framework to support interdisciplinary research, problem solving, and social implementation, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app will establish a research ecosystem that will bring to fruition the results of its academic pursuits, especially jitsugaku (science), and uphold them as the ¡°Common Sense of the Future¡±.


¡ù ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app is receiving financial support as part of the Program for Forming Japan¡¯s Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS).

The ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app Medical Science Reprint Collection contains a selection of 23 papers published by researchers at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app in Nature and the Nature family of primary research journals between 2006 and 2014. The discoveries in these papers have had an important impact on the fields of disease models, genome integrity, immunology, neuroscience, and stem cells, as highlighted in the five feature articles written exclusively for this collection. In the coming years, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app will continue to make critical advances in medical science and publish research that stands the test of time.
